FOR THE POST OF SENIOR SELECTOR / JUNIOR SELECTOR /
COACH /ASST. COACH /MANAGER / PHYSIOTHERAPIST / TRAINER AND VIDEO ANALYST
FOR VARIOUS TEAMS OF BIHAR CRICKET ASSOCIATION
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Senior Selector, Junior Selector, Coach, Asst. Coach. Manager, Physiotherapist, Trainer and Video Analyst for various teams of Bihar Cricket Association for the season 2020-21. The eligibility criteria for various posts are mentioned below:
1. THE MEN’S SELECTION COMMITTEE
(SELECTOR FOR SENIOR AND UNDER 23)
(Vacancies – 03)
Must have played a minimum of -
(i)Represented India in international match (junior /senior)
Or
(ii) Three Ranji trophy matches
Or
(iii) One Ranji trophy and three one day senior matches of BCCI
Or
(iv) Ten one day senior matches of BCCI
2. THE JUNIOR SELECTION COMMITTEE
(BOYS UNDER 19 AND BOYS UNDER 16)
(Vacancies – 03)
Must have played a minimum of-
(i) Represented India in international match (junior/senior)
or
(ii) One Ranji Trophy Match
Or
(iii) Five One Day Senior Matches of BCCI
3. THE WOMEN’S SELECTION COMMITTEE
(FOR ALL AGE GROUPS)
(Vacancies – 03)
Must have played a minimum of-
(i) Men’s Senior India/Men’s Junior India/Women’s National Team.
or
(ii) One Ranji Trophy and Three One Day matches / Three Senior women’s first class
matches
Or
(iii) Ten One Day Matches at BCCI level tournament.
NOTE:
For point no. 1, 2, 3 ,(a) Player should have retired from the game at least five
years before applying
(b). Age of the candidates should be below 65 years at the time of
application
4. COACH/ASST.CAOCH (SENIOR) - MEN’S TEAMS
(Vacancies – 02)
Must fulfill the following criteria-
(i) Played at least one match for India. Senior /Junior
Or
(ii) NCA Level 2 Coach; played at least one Ranji Trophy match,
Or
(iii) NCA Level 1 Coach; played at least five Ranji Trophy matches.
5. COACH /ASST.COACH - MEN’S– UNDER 23
(Vacancies– 02)
Must fulfill the following criteria-
(i) Played at least one match for India. Senior / Junior
Or
(ii) NCA Level 2 Coach; played at least one Ranji Trophy. Match
Or
(iii) NCA Level 1 Coach; played at least Five Ranji Trophy Matches
Or
(iv) NCA Level 1 Coach; played at least Ten Senior One day of matches (state) of BCCI
6. COACH/ASST.COACH (JUNIOR) – BOYS – UNDER 19
(Vacancies – 02)
Must fulfill the following criteria-
(i) Played at least one match for India. Senior / junior
Or
(ii) NCA Level 2 Coach; played at least one Ranji Trophy/ three Senior one day matches.
or
(iii) NCA Level 1 Coach; played at least three Ranji Trophy/ five one day matches
Or
(iv) NCA Level 1 Coach; - Coach of state team in the BCCI tournament at the same level or above
7. COACH/ ASST COACH (JUNIOR) – BOYS – UNDER 16
(Vacancies – 02)
Must fulfill the following criteria-
(i) Played at least one match for India. Senior /Junior
Or
(ii) NCA Level 2 Coach; played at least one Ranji Trophy /03 one day (senior) at BCCI Board tournaments.
or
(iii) NCA Level 1 Coach- Coach of the state team in the BCCI board tournaments at the same level and above
Or
8. COACH /.ASST COACH (SENIOR) - WOMEN’STEAM
(Vacancies – 02)
Must fulfill the following criteria-
(i) Played at least one match for India .Senior /Junior
Or
(ii) NCA Level 2 Coach/ played 10 Women’s First Class Match.
Or
(iii) NCA Level 1 Coach; played 03 Women’s First Class Matches.
(iv) Coach of the state team (5Years) in the BCCI tournaments at the same level or above.
9. COACH /ASST COACH - WOMEN’S– UNDER 23
(Vacancies – 02)
Must fulfill the following criteria -
(i) Played at least one match for India. Senior /Junior
Or
(ii) NCA Level 2 Coach/ played 10 Women’s First Class Match..
Or
(iii) NCA Level 1 Coach; played 3 First Class Women’s matches
(iv) Coach of the state team (3 years and above) in BCCI Tournament.
10. COACH/ASST COACH (JUNIOR) - WOMEN’S– UNDER 19
(Vacancies – 02)
Must fulfill the following criteria -
(i) Played at least one match for India. Senior / Junior
Or
(ii) NCA Level 2 Coach/ played 10 Women’s First Class Matches
or
(iii) NCA Level 1 Coach; played 03 Women’s First Class Matches.
(iv) Coach of the state team for 3 years of the BCCI board tournaments at the same level and above
NOTE:
1. Point no.8.9.10. (A): Players should be retired from the game at least 5 years before
(B): Age at the time of application should be below 60 years.
2. For point no.8.9.10. Male candidates will have to fulfill the same criteria as required
for U- 19 .U-23 .And Ranji trophy for men.
11. MANAGER
(Vacancies - 07)
Must fulfill the following criteria -
(i) Played for junior state /senior state
Or
(ii) Cricketer of repute with Corporate/Administrative experience at Manager Level
12. PHYSIOTHERAPIST
(Vacancies: Men – 04 & Women - 03)
Must fulfill the following criteria -
(i) Certified level one physiotherapist with an experience of handling any state team will
be an added advantage.
13. TRAINER
(Vacancies: Men – 04 & Women - 03)
Must fulfill the following criteria -
(i) Qualified NCA trainer with level one certificate or any other equivalent certificate from recognized institute, Experience of Handling any state team will be an added advantage.
14. VIDEO ANALYST
(Vacancies – 04)
Must fulfill the following criteria -
(i) Qualified BCCI Analyst.
(ii) Well versed with Analyzer and Silicon Coach Software.
(iii) On field experience of at least 05 matches.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS:
1. Application shall be submitted in the prescribed format clearly mentioning the post applied for along
with brief CV.
2. Since one may apply for not more than two posts, the preference for the Posts is to be clearly
mentioned.
3. For the post of Selectors, the Application Form should be submitted along with the following
undertaking in the form of self-undertaking :
(a) I do not own any affiliated club, cricket academy or club in the State of Bihar,
(b) I am not associated with any players' agencies.
(c) I have no children or any close relatives who is aspiring to represent the State of Bihar.
(d) I am not involved in any commercial dealings with the Bihar Cricket Association.
(e) I shall uphold the highest level of organisational and positional integrity and ethics.
(f) Please disclose any other conflict of interest which you may think arise.
4. For the post of Coach/Manager/Trainer/Physio, the Application Form should be submitted along with
the following undertaking in the form of self-undertaking :
(a) I do not own any affiliated club, cricket academy or club in the State of Bihar.
(b) I am not associated with any players' agencies.
(c) I am not involved in any commercial dealings with the Bihar Cricket Association.
(d) Please disclose any other conflict of Interest which you think may arise.
(e) I shall uphold the highest level of organisational and positional integrity and ethics.
(f) I have no children or any close relatives who is aspiring to represent the state of Bihar.
5. In case it is found that the Applicant has made any false declaration/s at any stage of recruitment or
employment, the Competent Authority shall reserve the right, after seeking a response from the concerned
person, to remove the said Selector/Coach/Manager/Trainer/ Physio/Video Analyst from the post, besides
recovering the remuneration/fees, if any paid and imposing such penalty as may be prescribed under the
BCA Rules. We encourage the Applicants to peruse the ‘BCCI Conflict of Interest Rules’ to guide them on
this issue.
